Crondon Park Wedding Photography Essex
January 20, 2010 on 2:15 pm | In Wedding Features | No CommentsAt the beginning of January I photographed Steve and Lisa’s wedding day at Crondon Park in Essex along with my good friend and fellow wedding photographer Steve.

I arrived at the venue to do the pre-wedding photographs with the boys. It was a sunny day, but extremely cold!

I captured all the details that symbolised their wedding day as well as capturing some of the candid moments.

The bride arrived in time for the ceremony and she looked amazing!

We popped outside for a couple of photographs including the large group and then returned back into the warmth.

There was an early sunset which we couldn’t resist.

It was then time for the wedding meal and ofcourse the speeches.

The couple then cut their cake and we had some time to take some photographs of them with their friends while the room was being cleared.

This left us with one last task to photograph, the first dance! Crondon Park is a great venue, especially for Christmas and Winter weddings as the barn provides a great backdrop resulting in warm, cosy looking photographs.

Leez Priory Wedding Photography Essex
January 15, 2010 on 1:48 pm | In Wedding Features | No CommentsLast season I photographed this wedding for Emma and Elliot which took place at Leez Priory near Chelmsford in Essex (www.brideshead.co.uk). It was a crisp wintery day but did stay bright, but with a real chill in the air.

Leez Priory is a very impressive wedding venue which stunning buildings and beautiful looking grounds.

After capturing the pre-wedding moments I took my usual position during the ceremony which was up the front to enable me to capture the emotions and expression throughout. The ceremony room in Leez Priory is in the Tudor Great Tower adjacent to the main house.

Making the most of the dry weather we did manage to grab some shots outside although didn’t keep everyone stood around too long as it was quite chilly. I particularly like using doorways and archways for some really arty looking shots.

It was then time for the wedding breakfast and I must say the food at Leez Priory is fantastic!

After the meal and speeches there was a firework display and then the first dance.

I really enjoyed photographing Emma and Elliots wedding day. If you would like to know more about RT Weddings and interested in me photographing your wedding day then please get in touch.
