Blake Hall Wedding Photography Essex

The weekend before last I photographed this wedding for Beverley and Owen which took place at Blake Hall Barns (www.blakehall.co.uk) near Ongar in Essex.

I arrived at the Ivy Hill Hotel (www.ivyhillhotel.co.uk) in Margaretting near Chelmsford where the bride was getting ready. Blushing Brides (www.blushing-brides.net) who I’ve worked with before did the hair. The flowers were arranged by Karen @ The Flower Mill (www.theflowermillessex.co.uk) and they looked fantastic!

I then went to St. Michael and All Angels Church (www.stmichaelsgalleywood.org.uk) near Galleywood Common in Chelmsford. I captured the Bride’s arrival and the ceremony before some casual shots outside the church. The service was taken by Stephanie and was very relaxed, entertaining and I was able to take lots of photographs inside the church.

We then made the journey to Blake Hall where the wedding reception was to take place. Blake Hall is a fabulous wedding venue with stunning locations and a very lovely barn which is perfect for wedding functions.

After utilising the grounds for some romantic shots, I took the formal group shots in the area next to the barn which also has some great natural looking backgrounds.

It was then time for the reception meal, speeches and evening party.

I noticed there was a sunset and the couple were very pleased to come out and get some extra special photographs.

I had a great day photographing Beverley and Owen’s wedding day and there was just one last photo to capture before leaving.

Roydon Marina Village Wedding Photography

A couple of weeks ago I photographed this wedding for Janine and Darren which took place at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Harlow (www.mmharlow.co.uk) and Roydon Marina Village (www.roydonmarinavillage.co.uk) at Roydon Mill in Essex.

The bridal party were getting ready at Roydon Marina Village and I met up with them for the pre-wedding photographs.

We then moved on to the church for the ceremony followed by some group shots on the common.

Everyone then made the journey back to Roydon Marina Village for the reception. There is an area at the back of the hall which over looks the canal where I took some romantic photographs with the couple.

The groom had chosen the colours of the table decorations to match those of his football team.

After the speeches it was time to cut the cake and for the first dance. I also set up the mobile studio by request of the bride to capture some portraits for everyone. I had a great time photographing Janine and Darren’s wedding day!

Marks Tey Wedding Photography Essex

Two weeks ago I photographed this wedding for Carla and Greg at their home in Marks Tey, near Colchester in Essex.

I arrived on quite a wet and windy morning where the Bride was getting ready.

The Groom and his Best man arrived.

It was then time for the ceremony which was a Buddhist blessing.

I then took lots of candid shots of the guest enjoying the drinks reception before the meal and speeches.

I had a great time photographing Carla and Greg’s wedding day, but there was one more shot I needed to take.
