Le Talbooth Wedding Photography Essex
May 16, 2011 on 11:52 am | In Wedding Features | 3 CommentsTowards the end of April I photographed this wedding for Nic & Tim which took place at the Maison Talbooth Hotel and Le Talbooth wedding venue in Dedham, Essex.

I arrived at the Maison Talbooth Hotel (www.milsomhotels.com/maisontalbooth/) on a beautiful sunny and warm morning and caught up with the bride who was getting ready at the hotel.

I caught up with the groom and the boys for a few photographs before the ceremony.

After a few photographs at the hotel we all took the 2 minute journey to Le Talbooth venue (www.milsomhotels.com/letalbooth/) and what a gorgeous location it was for wedding photographs.

I took evening portraits utilising the fabulous backdrops Le Talbooth had to offer and then the party started in the marquee.

The live music was provided by Kemistry (www.kemistryduo.com) and they were great! I had an awesome time photographing Nic and Tim’s wedding and am now looking forward to my next one.

Blake Hall Barns Wedding Photography Essex
May 12, 2011 on 9:29 pm | In Wedding Features | No CommentsIn mid-April I photographed this wedding for Jen & David which took place at Blake Hall near Ongar in Essex which seems to be one of my regular wedding venues.

I arrived at Blake Hall (www.blakehall.co.uk) in the morning as the bride was getting ready in the cottage – The Old Coach House which is a great addition to Blake Hall. I found it to be a great location for photographs as it is very bright andĀ spaciousĀ as well as having some very useful mirrors too. The hair service was provided by (www.yourweddinghair.co.uk).

I then went on to the St Mary the Virgin Church in Moreton for the ceremony.

We then headed back to Blake Hall for the drinks reception and photographs.

The weather had been perfect, dry and warm, which was unexpected for April. It was then time for the wedding breakfast in the Blake Hall Barn.

After the meal I was on hand to capture family photos and portraits for the guests.

Another unexpected surprise was the Essex sunset we were blessed with before the cutting of the cake and the first dance.

The live band were great and I had a fun time photographing Jen and David’s wedding day!

Crabbs Barn Wedding Photography Essex
May 11, 2011 on 2:29 pm | In Wedding Features | No CommentsIn mid-April I photographed this wedding for Gill and James which took place at Crabbs Barn in Kelvedon in Essex.

I arrived at the bride’s home in Chelmsford on a dry but overcast morning and captured the pre-wedding moments and getting ready shots.

I also popped to a nearby location where the groom had a surprise form of transport to take him to the wedding venue.

It was then time to make the journey to the wedding venue Crabbs Barn (www.crabbsbarn.co.uk) for the ceremony and formal as well as casual photographs.

It was then time for the wedding breakfast, afterwards I was on hand to take family portraits and couple shots for anyone who was interested.

After the cake cutting the couple had their first dance. I had an amazing time photographing Gill and James’ wedding day!
