November 25, 2010 on 1:27 am | In Wedding Features | No CommentsOn Sunday I photographed this wedding for Anne-Marie and David at the popular wedding venue Down Hall Country House Hotel (www.downhall.co.uk), near Hatfield Heath in Essex.
After a very wet week I was pleased to find the weather looked dry on the wedding day. I arrived in time to capture the pre-wedding moments and was pleased to have my good friend and associate Steve along as 2nd photographer. Anna, the wedding coordinator at Down Hall (www.downhall.co.uk/weddings/) was fantastic as was the resident toastmaster Mark Greatbatch (www.yourweddingtoastmaster.co.uk).
The wedding ceremony took place in one of the many fabulous halls at Down Hall.
Down Hall is an ideal wedding venue as it boasts some fantistic looking grounds aswell as many lovely indoor locations, perfect for wedding photographs Summer or Winter. The couple were so pleased it stayed dry as it meant we could really make the most of the grounds, whilst the guests kept warm in the main hall.
It was then time for the wedding breakfast and the speeches, before the evenings entertainment began.
Down Hall is very well lit and ideal for some beautiful evening shots. The moon helped make a great floodlit photograph perfect.
I had an amazing time photographing Anne-Marie and David’s wedding and look forward to returning to Down Hall again soon.
